Update if an app: Apple ID

When I go to update an app, it asks for me to type in my password to my Apple ID, and when I type in the correct one it still declines it. My phone is already signed into the Apple ID so I shouldn’t have to do this multiple times and it should just recognize my Face ID. Also when it asks me to sign into the Apple ID it only asks for my password and not the email as well. I’ve reseted my password but that still hasn’t worked

Any possibility the apps were downloaded using a different Apple ID? One option is to delete the apps/purchases made by the other ID and download them using the new ID if desired. If necessary, check your purchases history to see which apps/purchases weren’t made by the current ID.
