Looking for a Thunderbolt male to USB 3.1 male adapter, trying to connect a Samsung T5 SSD drive.
Is there such a thing and where can I get it?

I believe this drive uses a USB-A 3.1 Gen 2 cable, so it would just work (backwards compatible) to the 5Gbps USB3 port on the 2013 iMac. I very much doubt you are going to find a TB1 to USB 3.1 cable anywhere now that TB3 and USB-C have been shipping for quite awhile. The drive itself only delivers 540 MB/s throughput, so seeking a TB1 connection would be a waste of money and performance expectation.
I have a USB 3.1 Gen 2 enclosure with a 1TB Crucial SSD in it connected to my Late 2013 27 in iMac's USB 3 port (USB-A) and it is reasonably quick. This is where I base my Windows 10 (2004) and Ubuntu 20.04 VM guests.
