Noise of Fan/Overheating
Has any one had an issue where they notice a random noise being made either by the fan and then the device would start to slow down?

If something mechanically interferes with a Mac's exhaust fan, it will make a lot of noise followed by no noise followed by the Mac shutting down to prevent damage from overheating. You can test its operation with Apple Diagnostics: Diagnose problems with your Mac.
