Just noticed a short line about 3mm in length appear on my iMac 27" screen. I tried restarting to see if it was just something corrupted on the screen from an app etc. But it's still there.
Someone said "it's a firefly" – are they joking?
Is there a remedy?

Cover glass is glued/taped on...
First couple minutes shows how the glass is removed, last couple likely how to reattach it...
