Let me offer this tip: When I was managing the donations program for a outdoor sports equipment company, the requests for donations that got attention were in the form of a well-written business letter--the kind on letterhead.
Unless we had a prior relation with the person/program requesting, we tended to discount phone and electronic requests. Too easy to spoof. I still believe that is the way to get attention today. Most companies are so flooded with electronic comms that a proper letter stands out.
Thank you for your good deeds but the somewhat misleading name of these forums drew you to the wrong venue to ask. Happens a lot. Best wishes on your fund-raising.
