I have an iPad mini problem.
I have an iPad mini model A1489 that had dead pixels. My iPad is covered with warranty, I was wondering how much it’d be to get the dead pixels fixed
iPad, iOS 10

That model number is for a 7-year old, 2013 iPad Mini 2.
When and where was this iPad purchased and what warranty, exactly, is this covered under?
If this is, somehow, covered under paid, two-year AppleCare+, then a replacement iPad, in lieu of an actual repair is a small replacement device fee.
If NO paid AppleCare+, the cost is approx. 60% of that iPad’s original price from Apple.
This iPad Mini 2 NEEDS to have paid AppleCare+
If you purchased this iPad from some other source, other than Apple, and purchased another 3rd party warranty, you need to contact this other seller and/or the other third party warranty service provider.
No one here, nor Apple can help you.
Sorry & Good Luck to You!

Its very, very unlikely an iPad with that model number would still be covered by Apple's warranty .
Apple's warranty is only for one year after purchase, and you can extend it to 2 years buy purchasing Apple Care within the first 60 days of having purchased the device.
With that said, if it is somehow still covered by the warranty, which again is highly, highly unlikely, the repair would be free unless the issue is considered to have been caused by external damage.
Yours is an iPad Mini 2 that was released by Apple in 2013 and discontinued in 2017.
I’m surprised it would be under warranty.
