free apple tv subscription

I just bought an apple MacBook , how do i get the free year of apple tv? i just logged in and its only offering 7 days for free?

You have to log into Apple TV with the same Apple ID used to register the MacBook. Note also that the offer is for AppleTV+ streaming service only, not everything that can be watched on Apple TV.

Its still giving me the same option to only get 7 days free here

i wonder if its because i set up the new macbook from a time machine backup/external hard drive, instead of setting it up as a new macbook?
