Why is my Apple ID not correct

I want to sign in to my Apple Watch and was told my Apple ID is not correct and can’t open the watch

This is activation lock and the person you bought the watch off hasn't removed the lock,until they do the watch is of no use to you,get them to follow these steps or get your money back;
