Mac Pro can't boot to Recovery. Looping Chime Sound

Hi,

My Mac Pro crashed while working on photoshop. The screen went all glitchy for a few seconds and then it crashed. It is a 2009 Mac Pro flashed to 5,1 and using High Sierra. It has 48gb of ram installed.

It now won't get past the chime sound on a boot. It keeps playing the chime sound in a loop. Nothing on Screen. There is no leds lighting on the logic board.

SMC reset or PRAM doesn't help.

I've no problem giving it a clean install but I can't get into recovery mode or internet recovery.

I have a bootable usb there too but I can't boot from it.

Regards

Colum

This turned out to be the GPU. A replacement ATI Radeon HD 5870.

Im not sure if it is fixable.

I put the original G120 back into it and it worked though so Im happy enough
