I updated weeks ago to 10.15.5 but regularly get a software notification to update to 10.15.5?

There is a bug, however the Supplemental 10.15.5 is different then the 10.15.5
Download macOS Catalina 10.15.4 Supplemental Update https://support.apple.com/kb/DL2038?locale=en_US
It goes on top of your existing 10.15.5.
If this is what you are saying you already installed the "Supplemental" then
delete this plist from your Finder >Go>Go To Folder copy and paste:
~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.preferences.softwareupdate.plist
Then reboot.
