Where can I find Apple mobile to download for Mac please?

I think this is why I cannot connect my ipad or ipod. Thanx

By what I can make out anyway I need Apple mobile on my mac to make my mac and ipad connect. Have been trying to work this out the last 8 hours and tried everything else. Think it helps them connect, think its a drive

I have no idea, I have been an apple and Mac user for a long time and never heard of that.
