Once I have created a movie and saved it as a .mp4 it shows up on my desktop but with a random image as the visible icon, how can I change this? Same goes for when i text the video, it shows up as a plain black screen. Id like to have the title page show up as the file name icon if possible. Thanks!

Share the movie to your desktop. Do a control-click/Get Info on the
movie's icon. That will reveal an information box. Leave it on your
screen. Then put a still image from your movie onto your desktop. Open
it. Do an Edit/Copy of the open image (the image, not its icon). Then
select the little folder icon at the top of the Get Info box and do an
Edit/Paste of the image into the folder icon.. I am not sure if the new
icon thumbnail will carry over when the movie is texted.
