Activation lock with proof of purchase

I have a I phone 8 that has activation lock that needs removing I have provided proof of purchase as I got it on contract from ee 2 years ago I have sent emails from ee,proof of purchase, bank statements with payments made to ee, statements of bill from ee and nothing seems to be good enough all apple keep saying is needs more proof which ee are saying they have all the proof I'm the proof of purchase as it has all information on eg when purchased imei number make model feel like hit a brick wall n all my son wants to do is use his phone again any one got any ideas

You will need your original purchase receipt for the device from an authorized Apple seller with the device’s serial number on it. You’ll need a photo ID too.

If you have the receipt and a photo ID, use the support options below to contact Apple support. Alternatively, if an Apple Store is open in your area, then you can go there to deal with your problem. Hello!

Does the proof of purchase from EE include the serial number of the iPhone, or is it just the IMEI?

It looks like whatever you sent was not acceptable to Apple. You can use the support links I posted to pursue the matter farther (or go to an Apple Store if one near you is open) if you want.

I said to the lady last nite on phone about sending driving licence as then it will prove my name and address and correspond with the proof of purchase letter and she told me they wont accept any I'd x
