i am having a problem to login to my imac, i have my mouse but apparently it is not connected to my imac, i am all stuck at the login window, i tried youtube videos and some shortcuts and it is not working, any useful tip here ?

Mouse keys is one option it will only work if you have previously selected it in the Mouse section of Accessibility Controls (in System Preferences). Alternatively if you are having pairing issues with your mouse the easiest thing to do is to use a USB mouse to get running again. Buy or borrow one, they are quite cheap and it does not have to be an Apple mouse.
Just use a USB wired mouse.
You can use the arrow keys to select the account, then press Return to login.

If your keyboard has a numeric keypad, Mouse Keys may be useful.
It doesn't hurt to try that, but that option too needs to be pre-selected in the Accessibility controls (see below). Perhaps it is pre-selected by default (?), I don't know about that last bit.

Mouse Keys may work if you press the Option key five time, even if you have never set it in Accessibility system preference,
