can I bring in a broken charger to recycle

I have an old broken MagSafe 2 MacBook Air charger. The wire’s broken, thus it cannot be used. I’m not sure how to dispose of it— if I bring it into an apple store, will they accept it/recycle it for me?

Hello,

Apple can recycle this at a retail store.

Should you expect it may still provide correct power output, that unit

could be a repair project. The wire is replaceable, but plastic case is not

readily opened. ~ May be worth a few bucks - to a DIY person. See info:

Any city or municipality may have a free drop-box for failed electronic recycleables.

Good luck!🌤🙂
