I am getting an error message when I open Chrome and can't add bookmarks to it

I had to switch browsers from Safari to Chrome. I keep getting this message when I open Chrome "Your file was not found It may have been moved or deleted.ERR_FILE_NOT_FOUND"

In addition, I am unable to add bookmarks to Chrome which I need to do soon.

Any tips are greatly appreciated.

Apple assigned me a case number and I receive phone calls from them, but no one is there.
