My airpods pro frequently disconnect from my phone after I put them back in my case and the only way to reconnect them is to 'forget this device' and start again. Does anyone else have this problem? Apple sent me another pair but they have the same problem. I am thinking it is the case but they didn't send a replacement. Thoughts?

Hmm, when you put them back into the case and close the cover, they should turn off and may appear to be disconnected. However, when you open the case again and put them into your ears, they should connect and be ready to use. If not, try this:
1) Open the Control Center
2) 3D press (or long press) on the music controls
3) Select the output option (little up-arrow with circles)
4) Select AirPods

Sadly that didn't solve the problem. They will eventually connect if I fool around long enough but once I close the case with the airpods in it they generally disconnect and I need to forget the device to establish a new connection.
