How do I switch off two factor authentication?

i cannot sign into my iCloud account on my PC it asks for a code. Where do I find this code.? How do I switch it off?

When you turned on two factor authentication you were asked to establish a trusted device for that code to be sent to. When you turned on two factor authentication on you were advised that after 14 days you could not turn it off. Accessing your iCloud account, as well as several other Apple services, requires two factor authentication.


Two factor authentication is an opt-in security function. The user knowingly establishes two factor authentication. It is not automatic. See links below.
