Font not working

I have installed Shruti fonts for Gujarati typing. The fonts are well installed, appears in font list but not working in pages as well as MS word.

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 10.15

Apple really only supports Unicode Gujarati, and it provides fonts for that already. If Shruti is one of the old legacy ascii encoded type, it may not be usable in certain apps.

Can you type Gujarati without problem using Apple's Gujarati Input Source?
