I have a list for a board in an organization. I cannot add certain names to it. They just do not stay, and in writing to the board I must add these names every time in an email
. How do I get the names with their info to stay on the list?

Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at startup), does the problem occur in Safe Mode?
Safe mode attempts to repair Disks & clears lots of caches, so if Safe Mode works try again in regular boot.
If still a problem...
To find out if it's system wide or user specific, try this...
Open System Preferences>Users & Groups, unlock the lock, click on the little plus icon, make a new admin account, log out & into the new account.
Does it work in the new account?
How long before they disappear?
A workaround would be a little Teat edit Document with the names in it separated by commas... then Copy & Paste.
I want the names and their info to be part of a specific group in my contacts list so I can access it easily when I write. The names do not stay in the list - I can’t add their emails or phones either.
