My Apple TV remote will turn off both my Apple TV and my Sony but 24 hours later it will not turn on my TV just the Apple TV. Does anyone have similar issues

Sony refers to HDMI-CEC as “BRAVIA Sync”.
Have you disabled HDMI-CEC on the TV or at Settings ➔ Remotes & devices ➔ Control TV's and receivers on the Apple TV.
Yes that's the setting you want on the Apple TV. The Sony setting will say sync
I don't see any thing other than control TV, yes or no on my Apple. On my Sony I can't find any reference to CEC.....
