Older ICloud videos won’t play. Triangle with exclamation point

Hi. I have all apple devices - iPhone, Mac etc. my older videos - older than 2016 won’t play on any device or iCloud,.com. They show a blank square with a triangle and exclamation point inside it. Can someone help me retrieve my videos? Thank you.

Exclamation mark in triangle on videos from iCloud- why won't they play? I am trying to clear out my almost full iCloud, so I opened iCloud on my desktop and I'm trying to delete some videos. I'd like to watch some of these videos to decide if I should keep them, but... After letting it sit over night because it was taking to long to open the first video, I come back to find the yellow triangle with the exclamation mark in it over the video I was trying to open. After trying a few more, which were taken a while back by the way, they all seem to be out of commission. What is going on? What's the use of having iCloud if you can't open the videos you've backed up? Note: Coincidentally, my iMac needs an update to OS 11.4. It is running Big Sur v 11.2.3 Thanks! This is my first time using the Apple Community. I hope someone can help!

Videos won't play on my MacBook air My videos have stopped playing on my MacBook air. It is up to date. They play on my iphone, any help? Thanks

What are you seeing when you check the Photos app on the device?
