Unfortunately, you will need to fully erase and reset the device using iTunes on a full computer.

If you never backed up the data on this iPad, any important data on that iPad will, unfortunately, be lost forever, now! It is too late for a backup.

If you forgot the passcode on your iPhone, or your iPhone is disabled - Apple Support

Next time, it is best to write down any user IDs/passwords/passcodes for any devices we use and Websites we visit where such info is needed.

Especially so, as we all get older and start having issues with memory recall.

If your iPad is disabled, or you have forgotten your iPad passcode, you’ll need to follow this process:

https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT211078

You’ll need access to either a PC (with iTunes installed) or a Mac (with iTunes or Finder - as appropriate for the installed version of macOS).

You’ll also need your AppleID and associated password. If these have also been forgotten, they can be recovered here:

https://iforgot.apple.com

To recover your credentials, you’ll need access to one of the following:

  • Your primary email address mailbox that corresponds with your AppleID
  • Any of the secondary/recovery email addresses that should be configured for your AppleID account
  • Any of the trusted telephone numbers (fixed line or Cellular/Mobile) that are associated with your AppleID

Unless you AppleID account has not been fully/correctly configured, or has been seriously neglected, recovery of the AppleID and password should not be difficult.

More information about recovery of your AppleID:

https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201354

More information about recovery of your AppleID password:

https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201487

When you recover access to your credentials, you would be well advised to log-in to your AppleID account from a web browser - and verify/update any email addresses and trusted telephone numbers:

I would write down the variations you would possibly use and then try them one by one. Setting a pin requires 2 inputs, so more than likely it was something familiar to you. After repeated attempts you will get locked for a period of time so you will need to wait or turn off then on to retry. Once you exhaust every possible option you may need to factory reset. Plenty of videos online showing this. If you were backing up everything to iCloud, you shouldn’t lose anything unless you were taking a lot of pics/videos prior to locking and disconnecting from the internet.

Easiest way to factory reset is connecting to a Mac or PC while logged into iTunes. The factory reset is then initiated by holding the power and home button. Then follow the prompts on the iTunes app to restore and update.

Unfortunately, if you are unable to remember your Passcode for your iPad, you cannot reset it. You have to erase your iPad using a computer with iTunes. If you are unable to do what is contained in this link --> If you forgot the passcode on your iPad, or your iPad is disabled - Apple Support

See if a family member can do this for you. Or, if that's not an option, you can take it to your Apple Store Genius Bar and Apple can erase it for you.
