continuing appleid problems

This is something that has plagued me for months. Constantly get prompted to enter appleid on all devices. I estimate that this happens 300 times per week. And getting locked out 4 or 5 times a week. Then I have to get it unlocked. I never enter wrong id/password. I did NOT forget my appleid. Dealing with this appleid issue is taking up a large percentage of my time on Apple devices. Any idea why this keeps happening and what I can do to get this resolved?

This may be your problem, an updating Apple ID settings problem. Apple is aware of the problem.

Note that some have solved the problem by signing out of iCloud, restarting their devices, and signing back in

I suggest you use my search link (update apple id settings) in trying to solve your problem. You will see a number of links that are related to it. But, note that I have not seen a definitive solution for it.

I just replied to you prior post. So, now I have to say darn. And, now, here is hoping Apple figures it out soon. Not saying upgrade your system, but what macOS are you running? You might want to think about upgrading. I took a chance on upgrading once and fixed an annoyance like yours. Assuming your upgrade was successful, it would be a relatively low cost way of bringing serendipity to bear on the issue.
