i know my pass code but ipad is disbled

Grandson was trying to log on to ipad. Now its disabled. I know passcode. How do I fix this?

If you forgot the passcode on your iPad, or your iPad is disabled - Apple Support

Once your iPad is disabled, it doesn't matter if you know the Passcode. You will have to erase it using the directions in the link Skydiver119 provided.
