Now my old apple tv device asks you to sign in you enter email and password then the 2 step verification code is sent to my phone, now it actually asks you to type in the verification code and when you do it goes back to the email, password?
if you have an older model ATV, the code is entered onto the end of the password as one entry. Example: “password123456” then click submit

If you have a 2nd or 3rd Gen ATV (you said it was old) there is no area to enter numbers, after you’ve done the password
Please Identify your Apple TV model
You put in your email - submit- then add your password with the code right on the end of your password (no spaces) altogether as one entry - then click submit
If you don’t have the older model and the code isn’t being accepted, you are taking to long once it’s sent to you. (It expires)

Thanks for the info above but now the ATV asks for you to sign in (email) then password, then it pops up to enter the verification code (numbers are only choice on the screen) we enter the verification code and it jumps back to sign in again, password, verification....loop
