Apple Watch tracking move calories when i’m not moving?

I bought an Apple Watch series three yesterday and this morning as i’m lying in my bed I am noticing my move calories shown in my activity bit are going up however I am still lying in bed? It was 6 calories when I woke up and now it’s up to 16, yet i’ve not even taken a step yet and no steps are recorded anyway.

Hello abbiewhite,

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities. From your post, it appears there are move calories being tracked. We'll do everything we can to help.

The Move calories will be detected exactly from what it's meant to, which is movement. If you move around while lying down, it will track those as being active, especially with arm movements.

If you still think this is done in error, you can try calibrating the Apple Watch: Calibrating your Apple Watch for improved Workout and Activity accuracy

Enjoy your day.
