AirPods have no sound

After connecting and disconnecting them serveral times, turning Bluetooth on and off, making sure sound was up to maximum, cleaning them and practically everything else I read on these boards I realized that I had this other app open (Shazam) which is used to listen via microphone in order to identify songs. I closed it and boom AirPods sound worked immediately. Hope this help

someone out there bcus this was driving me nuts.
