Desktop screen display issue
After deleting a file from desktop, it's image icon remains. Have to manually surround it with mouse and it disappears. How to eliminate? Running Catalina 10.15.6
Parallels, macOS 10.14
Did you empty the Trash yet?
Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at startup), does the problem occur in Safe Mode?
Safe mode attempts to repair Disks & clears lots of caches, so if Safe Mode works try again in regular boot.
