Synced Pictures Have Lines/Glitch

I’ve synced some photos from my pc to my iPhone 11, and some of them, but not all of them, appear to be glitching.

I tried on my other home pc and all the pictures sync correctly. So it appears to be my new pc that has problems. Both PCs have the latest version of iTunes (NOT from Microsoft Store, regular installers). My iPhone is up to date. Here are pictures of what I’m talking about:

and here is what it’s supposed to be:

so the top 2 are what’s happening. Again, i synced the same photos from 2 different PC’s, one was completely fine, the other, my new pc I just got a few weeks ago, some of the pictures look like the top 2.

Any idea what’s wrong? I don’t want to go back and forth between 2 computers just to sync new photos to my phone, since I’d rather have only 1 pc in my house.

Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities. We understand you’re having issues with the way some photos appear after syncing them from your PC to your iPhone. We’ll be happy to help.

Just to verify, are these photos ones that you also took with your iPhone? If so, make sure iOS is completely up to date:

Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Then try syncing again. If that doesn’t help, uninstall iTunes and it’s components as stated in this article:

Remove and reinstall iTunes and related software components for Windows 7 and later

Then reinstall Windows from the Microsoft Store and try syncing your photos over again.

As an alternative, you may want to see if this occurs when using iCloud for Windows as well:

Set up and use iCloud for Windows

Hey Nancy H,

Thanks for going through those steps and providing that info. To verify, if you resize the photo before syncing to your iPhone, does this have any impact on the issue? This link can help you resize:

Resize, rotate, or flip an image in Preview on Mac

Try a couple of sizes, sync them over and see if this helps at all.

The photos were taken with another camera (Sony a6300) and uploaded to my PC. Then I went to iTunes and synced them to my iPhone.

like I said, it works perfectly on another computer I have, but not my new one. I tried the Microsoft store version of iTunes and the regular installer and had the same results. Both iTunes and my iPhone are up to date.
