How do I get “Trending Stories” to show?

Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities. We understand you want to know how to view Trending Stories in the News app on your iPhone. We’ll be happy to help with this.

When you open the News app, tap on Today at the bottom. At the top should appears todays Top Stories, as you scroll down, you should see Trending Stories. 

If you don’t see this, go to Settings > News and make sure Restrict Stories in Today is not enable.

If the issue continues, force close the app and restart your iPhone:

Restart your iPhone

Check for any updates to iOS:

Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
