I brought the New ipod nano in ebay ship from China. It is yet arrive but I concern if I wouod be able to check if it is a fake or a real ipod one?
someone said check the serial number in apple website, but somehow I cannot find it anywhere.

He could stock it up for 3 years, but I would be very suspicious of any electronic device with a battery that was unused for 3 years. You can input the serial number at Check Your Service and Support Coverage - Apple Support
There won’t be warranty coverage, but it may recognize the number.
Apple has not manufactured an iPod Nano for 3 years. If you ordered something called a “Nano”, it is most certainly not from Apple.
When you provide the serial # and it comes back authentic or not the picture that is displayed is it supposed to be the ipod in question?
For example I ordered a black ipod nano, but when.i put the serial # in its comes up but in blue.
I mean i could be he stock it up. But I just want to make sure
