How to retrieve specific saved files from iCloud?

My daughter uses procreate app. She’s created 100’s of drawings. Her brother accidentally deleted the app. It’s set to automatically backup to iCloud, and we have plenty of storage. We re-downloaded the app. How do we download her saved art from the iCloud to the iPad?

Where is my app’s data backed up? I’m using an app on my old iPhone that allows me to document various things using photos. I’m about to get a new iPhone, so I’m wondering how to save all the data in the app. According to the sole entry in the app’s FAQ,: “If you have an iCloud account, your data will automatically be backed up to iCloud. Just make sure to not delete the app. If you lose your phone or have to reset your phone, restoring from your iCloud backup should restore all your data.” At the main level of iCloud Drive on my phone, I see the following folders: ArtText3, BBEdit, Downloads, GarageBand, Graphic (another app), Pages, Preview, QuickTime player, Shortcuts, and TextEdit. I do not see a folder specifically for the aforementioned app. Could the backups be elsewhere, or is the app’s FAQ mistaken?

Application document backup How do I backup application documents to the cloud for applications like GoodNotes and Procreate? Does the automatic backup from the iPad settings save this data? Can I backup those files? If so, how do I do it so that I can restore after device reset to factory default settings? Basically I would like a device imaging capability to backup and restore.

icloud backup i have a backup of my iphone on the cloud is it possible to just restore an app and its contents (mainly Pictures from whatsapp) to my phone or is it just the whole phone with no options most of my pictures never return ?

You should restore from a backup - Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch from a backup - Apple Support however before you go down that road, does the app offer you an option to restore from a backup (within the app)?
