My dad and I were looking under the house and we found his old work iPad so I reset it and I am trying to activate it and this shows up I try to put in my information and it says it is linked to an account is there any thing you or I can do to fix this?

Going by the .org in the email that was possibly a work ipad, which means you need access to the Apple ID and password used to set it up. If you do not have access to that then it’s useless and only good for recycling

you'll need to follow these in order to get it unlocked. Basically you need to use the Apple ID that the was previously used with the iPad
