Always on not working

My watch is in always on mode but stopped turning on when I raised my wrist. How do I fix this. Again, it’s set for always on.

Slide up on the watch face screen and theatre mode looks like this;

Turn it off.

Check in control centre to see if theatre mode is turned on.

Unfortunately I can not find theater mode. The only way my watch lights up is by tapping it or pressing the buttons. It used to just take a turn of my wrist.
