Is it possible to recover data when laptop exposed to liquid damage?

If you have a MacBook Pro 2016 or 2017 model with Touchbar, then Apple or an Apple Authorized Service Provider may be able to recover the data from the Logic Board using a special device to access the integrated SSD. You will need to pay for this service.


If you don't have a backup and your drive is not removable or the drive is damaged, then you will need to contact a professional data recovery service such as Drive Savers or Ontrack. Both vendors provide free estimates and both are recommended by Apple.
