Activate Mac - Failed to create activation request

Hello!

Trying to restore my 2014 Mac book through time machine. The files have been uploaded back onto my Mac but whenever I try to enter through my profile it restarts and takes me to the activate Mac page with the words 'failed to create activation request'. Sometimes I after I type my password in it loads then a few mins later it restarts again to this message. I tried deleting the Mac from my iCloud account which did let me use the Mac for a little longer till it restarted again.

Any ideas what is going on and how to resolve it?
