iMessage help

I recently got a new iMac but the problem is that whenever I try to sign into iMessage, it says that there's a error with the authentication and I tried everything but it still wouldn't work so I'll need your help fixing this

To find out if it's system wide or user specific, try this...


Open System Preferences>Users & Groups, unlock the lock, click on the little plus icon, make a new admin account, log out & into the new account.


Does it work in the new account?
