Someone stole my iphone 6s and I got it back, but they changed my passcode on the phone and I can't reset it? How do I change it back?

It certainly sounds like you know the “thief”. You may need her/his assistance if the iPhone was Activation Locked.

If you forgot the passcode on your iPhone, or your iPhone is disabled - Apple Support
