"This site can't be reached" issue, macbook pro 2019, 16"

Since I purchased my macbook pro in Nov 2019, I have been unable to visit web sites when clicking on links that seem to go through bounce-through services.

I've tried all browsers, and this same thing even happens even in my Parallels Desktop Virtual PC Windows browsers. I don't get this problem on other macs and PC's I follow the same links through.

For example, I click on a link in an email from a source that I trust, and get this, in this case where the "r20.rs6.net" is not the end site I would be going to.

This site can’t be reached

r20.rs6.net refused to connect.Try:

ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED

I haven't set up any firewall on my machine, and it doesn't matter where I am, on what wifi or network.

Is this a known issue? Can I tell my mac to trust these somehow when attempt to follow a link that uses these services? I'm not very technically savvy so I'm not really sure what to do. Thanks for any help.
