In App Store my Apple ID password is not being accepted.

App store is requiring me to enter my Apple ID password to update my apps. I put in the right password but it says my Apple ID or Password is incorrect, which is not the case. Please advise, thanks

iPhone 8 Plus, iOS 13

A request for another Apple ID password is often caused by updates to apps/purchases that were made when using the other ID. Those purchases are tied to the other ID and can't be transferred. One option is to delete the apps/purchases made by the other ID and download them using the new ID if desired. If necessary, check your purchases history to see which apps/purchases weren’t made by the current ID.

Receiving the message you received is common. But, I have not seen a definitive solution for it. I suggest you use my search link in trying to solve your problem: verification failed apple ID or password is incorrect. You will see a number of links that are, or may be, related to your specific problem.
