iCloud Drive not showing other Mac documents on new MacBook Air

Just been sent a new replacement MacBook Air (10.15.5) and for some reason iCloud is not showing any of my folders from my two other Apple computers in Finder.

If I login into iCloud Drive via Safari I can see all my folders for my other machines under the top Documents folder, yet the OS version in Finder is just empty.

Any idea what I can do to fix this? I'm signed into with my Apple ID under System Preferences.

I've also got the boxes ticked for Desktop and Document folders.

Folders are not shared using iCloud.com directly , even all the Mac are signed in with same Apple ID and password on the same network , even iCloud Drive and desktops and documents box are checked in all of them .https://support.apple.com/en-in/guide/mac-help/mchle5a61431/10.14/mac/10.14

With iCloud Drive, you can safely store all kinds of documents in iCloud, and access them from all your computers and iOS devices. If you like, you can have all the files in your desktop and documents folders stored automatically in iCloud Drive. That way, you can save files right where you usually keep them, and they become available on all your computers and iOS devices.

You can use iCloud Drive on Mac computers (OS X 10.10 or later), iOS devices (iOS 8 or later) and Windows computers with iCloud for Windows (Windows 7 or later required). You must be signed in to iCloud using the same Apple ID on all your computers and devices.

Hmmm. Okay, that's really strange. I am not sure quite how my older MacBook Air and iMac have the same desktop folders whereas this one doesn't.

On my old Air I have managed to pin the folders from my iMac (which must be in the iCloud drive) into Finder's sidebar. It's listed under the iCloud tab in Finder. I'd love to be able to do that on my new MacBook so that I can access those files but I can't seem to locate this material unless I go into iCloud Drive in Safari.

Any ideas how to get access to these?
