Why do random apps open at MacBook Air startup? I'm having issues in Catalina 10.15 where random apps come open at startup. These aren't necessarily ones I was using when I shut it down last. Also, in Safari, the sidebar will randomly pop open. Is this common and how do I fix it? Thank you.

Multiple pop ups on my screen that won't go away I recently updated my MacBook air to OS catalina and there are multiple pop ups on my screen that won't go away. “mwyxazmyqurf” is damaged and can’t be opened. This is what they state. The app name keeps changing. Now these are apps that i don't want so i was okay deleting them, so when i click on "move to bin" another pop up comes up saying move it manually. So i looked for those apps and deleted a few but there are 2-3 that are no where to be found so i don't how to delete them. The pop ups won't go away, they repeatedly say “mwyxazmyqurf” is damaged and can’t be opened or “uenthinge.app” cannot be opened because the developer cannot be verified or uenthinge.app” could not be moved to Bin what do i do? I turned the "always" option on for download preferences since these apps are from an unidentified developer but that didn't solve the problem. [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Which applications exhibit this behavior?

Does this occur for a different user, e.g., Guest? How to test an issue in another user account on your Mac.

Does this occur after starting up in Safe Mode?

Consider the possibility of a third party software conflict. EtreCheck can be used to investigate what is installed. You can post the report here. Someone might spot something.
