Cannot access my apple@me.com account. Every time I enter appleid password for the mail account get message that either username or password is incorrect. How do I find out where my apple@me.com username and password are found.

You must create an app specific password online. It looks like you're trying to access your emails via a third-party app and this is the only way to do so.
When I setup an apple mail account I was given the option of either a @icloud.com mail account or a @me.com mail account. I choose a @me.com account. My problem is that I need to know if that account uses the appleid user name and password to access it or would it be an entirely different password.
I can access my @me.com from a windows laptop as I have an app specific password for that but I cannot access it form my imac. keep getting wrong username or password!
If you are using the app specific password in the Apple Mail program, you don't need to do that. Use the regular password. App specific passwords are only for 3rd party applications.
