I accidentally tapped a series of unicorns that now show up FIRST in my list of emojis. How do I delete the unicorns so that the normal emoji list comes up?

The Frequently Used Emoji section in the iPhone's built-in Emoji keyboard can be reset to the default set by going to Settings app → General → Reset and tapping Reset Keyboard Dictionary.

Note: The command is not specifically meant to reset the Frequently Used Emoji list (rather it's the side effect), you'll end up resetting your custom dictionary. Also, all the downloaded dictionaries will be deleted. (Hence, you will no longer be able to quickly see the definition of a word by selecting it and tapping Look Up). Dictionaries can be easily re-downloaded by going to Settings app → General → Dictionary and tapping on desired dictionaries.

Negative. Does not work. The 9 little purple unicorns are still there. Apple...WTF?

Unfortunately there is no other way to do it, Try repeating my steps again

Tried again. No joy. I miscounted earlier. There are 8 smiley purple unicorns, not 9. Does Apple think we are all 11-year-olds?

What happened to middle finger emoji ?

Did Apple turn into a screen-weenie & delete it from list ?

Turn off the “Memoji“ setting and it will eliminate those goofy animal/cartoon things

go to Settings, General and Memoji is at bottom, yu might have to scroll down before yu see it

Went to "Settings," then "General," and found no "Memoji."

Tried your steps again. After the reset the unicorn emojis are still first up in "frequently used." Thanks for trying.

Simply swipe emojis all the way to the right and tap on the clock emoji. Boom all unicorn emojis are gone.
