Apple Music on 2 iphones on 1 Apple account

We have 1 Apple account with 2 iphones. I have an Apple Music subscription. Can I use Apple Music on both iphones without upgrading to the Family music subscription?

You can, but not at the same time.

If you are playing music on one device, and start playing music on the other one, the first device will stop playing music.

You can only play Apple music on one device at a time per Apple ID.

The Family Subscription simply let's you play music on up to 6 different Apple ID's but each Apple ID is still limited to playing music on one device at a time.
