Getting Two Different Angles With LG 5k Monitor Webcam. Why Is This?

Hi everyone. I have a 16" 2020 MBP with the LG UltraFine 5K Display (27MD5KL). This is the current model 5k display. When using the built-in webcam on the monitor, I get two different scenarios for the camera. This seems to be in all apps, but I happen to notice it mostly in Zoom because I use it religiously. In one scenario, the camera is wider angle and looks to be higher quality to me. The second scenario has the camera more cropped and is lower quality. I haven't been able to figure out how to control this or even why this is happening. There really arent' any settings on the monitor and it's also using the latest software.
