ScreenTime on macOS should track only apps which have focus and/or are in foreground

ScreenTime tracks time for all open apps on iOS. Which is a wierd behaviour rendering the app pretty much useless.

Let's say that I have a 30 minutes daily limit for Safari. In the morning I start working, cleaning up my mail. Before I am finished I get a notification that I run out of time just because I had a Safari window open somewhere in background from yestarday.

Moreover the same issue affects the tracked times. Apparently, according to ScreenTime, yesterday I spent 11h in several different applications & dozen of webpages at once. Those numbers are pretty much meaningless, rendering the reporting useless.

On iOS this works just fine. Is anyone here actually using this on macOS?

MacBook Pro 16″, macOS 10.15
