I would guess that you created a new one to sign in here, but maybe not. But, if you want, you can create another up to a point regardless of how many you have. Note that some don't like the idea of having two or more Apple IDs, but if you can handle the data issues satisfactorily, then having more than one is a reasonable thing to do in some cases.

Keep in mind that some things available under a first Apple ID will not be available under a new Apple ID. For example, you won’t be able to transfer anything purchased from the App and iTunes Stores to the new ID. And, there are other issues to be addressed.
