my watch isn’t working properly I have tried resetting it but it does nothing I don’t know how to get it back to factory settings to see if that fixes the problems

I have done all of these it has gone off my phone but when I go through what I have to do on my watch it doesn’t do anything at all. I restarted the watch to see if it would work after that it still won’t do anything it just goes back to the erase all contents and settings
Try this;
Press and hold both the side button and Digital Crown for about 10 seconds, then release both buttons when you see the Apple logo.Wait a few seconds, then hold down just the side button for about 20 seconds or until the “erase all settings” prompt shows up on the screen, then click it, then click the green check button.
How do I reset my watch I have gone into settings and pressed erase but keep plan and nothing happens
